BALI - Beach and the Blowhole
Monday, March 28, 2011 @ 7:58 PM
The following photos are taken in the beach basically, where we really didn't do much or too exciting. Well we visited the Blowhole, in which we saw some awesome waves coming out from between a huge built of rocks. While there, I spotted a few married couples all dressed up, and so I got some pictures of that too. We also got to walk around the souvenir shops and check out the shopping mall there. I tried out the fish spa too with my friend So Yeon, which looking from the picture you can see that she doesn't seem to excited about having the fishes swirm around here feet. :DThere is unfortunately, or fortunately more photos which I would upload by the way.. I've decided to just upload them all, even though it's been taking me a really long time. Will keep them posting here as fast as I can!
BALI - Teaching at a Local School (PART II)

So the title pretty much says it all...2nd part to my Bali trip! Anyways, we taught English at a local school for 4 days on our trip. Not only that, we also helped painted the classroom walls and assembled fans to be attached to the class ceilings. I did not get much action photos unfortunately because I was basically busy with the work myself, but I am content with the photos I got anyways.Alright, enjoy the photos!
Heading to KFC after a hard day's work :')

BALI - Culture & Village Life (PART I)

I've delayed this blog post for too long, and I have to regretfully say that...I haven't got to finish editing all the photos yet! Well anyways, I decided to upload a portion of the photo for now, and I'll think about whether I'll include more photos in the next post..though I don't like to just leave the photos..unshared anyways. I'll try my best :DSo the following photos are of the first two days when we arrived in Bali. We spent the first day just settling in our hotel that we would be staying in for 7 nights, and on the second day...it was basically our "tourist" day where we went to observe the way of living in the villages, saw pigs, had lunch high up in the mountains, visited the silver-making company, and the most memorable, the coffee bean plantation. Not only did we get to sample each a cup of chocolate/coffee, we also learnt that these beans, to our horror, came from the droppings of bats that we HAD in fact seen earlier while walking in to the plantation. We only knew of this, unfortunately, AFTER we had finished our sample of the drink.
-_-''
Okay, so on with the photos.
This photo by the way was drawn by my very talented friend, Paz. If you do not know who he (the person being drawn) is, seriously you are missing out...
